Claire just keeps growing and is getting into everything that she can get her little hands on. (As you can see with this picture of her trying to have some of her grandpa's coffee.) She can now get and sit up on her own. She is trying to stand up sometimes. She now has two teeth on the bottom, so therefore, puts absolutely everything in her mouth. She loves to talk and sing. It seems that she has a lot to say. (I wonder where she gets that? Her dad, maybe?) The only real word that she says right now is dada. Everything is dada. Yes, Joe is very proud of this. Claire is crawling, but not on all fours. We call it the army crawl. This does not stop her from getting into everything, though. | Her first bite of cereal. | We have been very busy this summer with family and friends. In August, Kara's sisters and brother-in-law were in town and had a great time. About a week after that, Kara and Claire went to Washington to visit Kara's parents and sister and brother-in-law. It was Claire's first plane ride and she did great. She only got fussy towards the end of the flight because she wanted to play on the floor. They had a great time in Washington, but Joe got lonely without them. | |||||||||||||||||||
